Yet Another Walbro Fuel Pump 255LPH
This fuel pump i bought belongs to my brother. I believe he has some sick plans up his sleeves with the B16A engine. Im using the same fuel pump and i never regret using it. I have actually done a writeup on this fuel pump in my previous postings. Check it out!
Where : Available In Most Performance Shops
Price : 4XX-5XX (Minus Installation Charges)
HONDATA Intake Gasket
Bought the gasket for my brother. I wish they had for my car also. The brand new package comes with no plastic washers like the old model and also the new model gasket is thicker and darker bluish in color. Managed to read the instructions that came with it, the key note was your air-filter system should NOT be opened to the hot engine air.
Where : Few Performance Shops in Sunway
Price : Less Than RM450 Brand New (Minus Installation Charges)
Hondata Notes
Hondata have developed a special high temperature insulating gasket which replaces the stock intake gasket. This and bypassing several heat sources significantly reduces the transfer of heat from the head to the intake and incoming air giving you up to 5% more power. Turbocharged cars often use an aluminum intercooler to cool the air compressed by the turbo. The intake manifold is also made of aluminum but because it is heated by the head from combustion and coolant, works in reverse to an intercooler by heating the intake air by as much as 50° C.
Fact: For every 3.3 °C (5° F) rise in intake temperature, air density drops 1%. The hotter the air, the less fuel the computer injects to compensate for reduced oxygen. HondaLogger datalogging software has enabled us to measure intake air temperature under varied driving conditions.
Around town, testing has shown an average drop of around 10 degrees C which is good for around 3 percent power increase. Remember though that 3 percent power increase is difficult to feel. You'd feel a greater change in performance getting rid of that passenger. In certain conditions a 30° C drop has been measured.
The Honda manifold is heated in up to 5 places. From the head, the interior heating takeoff hose, the cold idle valve, the idle control valve and the throttle body heater. The Hondata Heatshield Intake gasket kit contains an insulating gasket, and installation instructions. A race version only version with the thermostat bypass blocked is also available.

When we were kids...
When we were kids, we like to brag about our bicycles and skateboards. Starting with the brand names which are commonly used by famous tv stars or professionals seen on magazines during those days. Then we start to talk about who has the best parts and who paid the most(brag is cool when you are a kid). Kids during those days will try whatever they watch on tv and do stunts infront of everybody(showoff is cool when you are a kid). With limited exposures and tricks, we end up doing the shit everyday.
Then came along mr boaster(s) that likes to talk about having "invisible" toys. He will preach all day and night about his toys where no one has ever seen it before actually. Im not sure why he like to boast, probably it makes them him feels better than everyone or to make them part of the group or just a quick turbo boost to fame. It makes them feel proud in their egoistic chest for making such a fairy tale and at the end of the day, people bought it (kids had to agree with their friends or else they will befriend to those didnt agree).
Ironically, this shit i see still happens in adults. Not about bicycles but about their cars. Ever wonder why they like to say things they dont have? Ever wonder why they twist their words to make it "cool" to other people's ears. Nowadays its all about having the latest brands. I pity their friends because being friends , they have to accept, nod and be part of that lying world. When these idiots cant makeup their mind, they lie. It is simple, fast and it doesnt cost a cent but it might cost friendship.
When we were kids, it was fun. Nowadays as adults, its fucking irritating.

Little Things Your Tuner Wont Tell You : Honda OBD-1 ECU
All these pix came from my friend's ecu. I tried to snap the closest angle i can to show you the real shite about it. Its a JDM P08 OBD-I ecu and the best part about it, its automatic. Lets not panic and run to your car, relax and read.
My friend runs on a JDM B16A OBD-I engine with manual transmission. After discovering that he is not using a P30 ecu, i can see flames flowing through his nose. This ecu came with a chip but i removed it for clearer view.
- As you can see the lables and tags has been removed from the side of the ecu and in inner harness socket. (Brilliant idea by the tuner, business opportunity i would say)
- The 4 set of 5-legged capacitors means that it is an automatic ecu. Manual comes with 2 set.
- This ECU has a capability to be repogrammed to DOHC VTEC if all the specific jumpers are being soldered correctly. (This one is not being done to my friend's ecu)
- This ecu would normally cost half the price of a JDM P30 ecu or probably less.
- Sometimes you will get a check error code that throws a automatic transmission solenoid error if you did not covert it to manual spec. (the jumpers, not just the chip alone)
- This ecu doest not come with a knock sensor board.
- For those you wanted to know its a JDM 92-95 SOHC Vtec ecu from the Honda Civic.
- As for performance wise, you wont feel any power loss on butt dyno and maybe on a real dyno run, a few tiny missing horspower will be missing.
- P30 comes with a knock board in the ECU.
Main reason why this shitty ecu is in my friend's car is due to the fact the tuner wants the P30 ecu which has more value and originality. If the P08 is being converted properly with no CEL codes popping on the dash, its fine. But the sad part is the tuner will charge the same price as the P30.
For those planning to go for Hondata S300J, please get a P30 ECU. Advisable without the TCS shit.
Did i say Hondata? Hee hee

Timing Belt Snapped at 9000rpm
Jason's timing belt snapped last week. Revving at 9000rpm or probably more using factory stock Mitsubishi (MMC) belt on his overpowered GTi. According to him, the timing belt had 30,000kms done and 1 year time usage. My guess after looking at it, it's high time for an uprated racing timing belt like Power Enterprise, Toda, Gates, HKS or anything that would fit 4G93P.
If you plan to rev more than the stock rev cut, especially those high revvers with EMS or even a chipped ecu, i advice you to change a better timing belt.
Jason had to change ALL his valves due to this mishap.
Life goes on and he is still continuing modding. (normal ppl would plan to sell the car by now :p)
