Sani's Crx is in dismantling mode now as you can see from the photos. He plans to do some dent fixes, change a few worn out parts and paint the car entirely.
I think the cold winter and rain has bitten this car. This minor restoration project is not gonna be cheap.

Car Blasting - For Serious Restoration Project
Im a big fan of Barry's Speed Shop/SMC Super Muscle Car (http://www.supermusclecar.com) show on TV. This is the only show i think so far that brought a rust bucket junk into life in few weeks. Chip Foose Overhaulin is good but it hasnt got much V8s in certain episodes.
The part that excites me the most were during the car blasting processes. Typlicaly they use sand for blasting prolly its cheaper and lately they use soda to blast the car. In just few hours, they'll strip the paint from the entire car rather than the conventional paint-stripping process which takes a week and only for easy access surfaces.
Check this out.

So what about Malaysia? Do they have any? I googled and apparently there is a shop in Subang, CADBiz Sdn Bhd that does sandblasting for cars which will cost you RM3,500 for the whole car. Do take note that this is the process to blast only, not to fix the dent, bondos and lastly the expensive paint.

ECO-Friendly Blasting? Corn Cob? Recycled grass?
After knowing all these, its not good to know that Mr. Paint Stripper could only do the flat surfaces and easy to reach areas.
Are you seriousssss?

HOOOOOOO.... I Finally Found It
Ive been searching for this car for ages. I dunno where i misplaced or prolly lost my magazine. It was the Turbo & Hi-Performance Magazine June 1999 issue. 10 fucken years ago article.
I found it at this cool website which has plenty of Honda stuffs, The Chronicle : http://stickydiljoe.com/2009/03/17/a-nostalgic-momentjune-1999-top-fuels-531hp-ek/
Yeah, i have to agree the intercooler setup must have inspired from Brandon of Teamrice Hawaii. Check this out :
I dont mind having the same dream setup as the TopFuel EK. Cant imagine the sick torque at 500hp. If you like Vtec Turbo, check out Huge Le specs and engine bay comparison between 4 long years. I have to respect him for the built.

Need More Air?
Here is an example of fitting a Super90 TB on your 4G92 Mivec intake. Found this in the Satria GTI forum. Not sure what is the size of the TB but i suspect it should be a 70mm for the Honda B-series. Which is many millimeters from my ported TB.
Below are the pix of the B-series engine and Mitsubishi 4G-series engine using twin throttlebodies. Both coming from the northern states custom works.
Significant response improvements, that i wouldnt know.

Mitsubishi CA to CJ Facelift on Proton Cars
If you are tired with the CA models on your Proton front conversions, then you can try doing the CJ front facelift. I have seen quite a number of these front cuts/clips which were left under the rain and were hardly sold at the halfcut shops.
I did ask a few times and the whole CJ front could cost you around RM500-RM600. I think u can try haggle and get a good bargain since the demand is awfully low. Anything cheaper or free would prolly be your luck then.
Izrin linked me these photos and i think it looks better on the Proton Putra which balances the bigger headlights at the front end with the extended rear boot compared to the Satrias.
Well, it can be yucky for some people and it can be a cheap alternative to some since original Satria GTi and Mirage-R front parts are still expensive.
