Ive been trying to blog since Monday but work has been pretty much over my head and stress has been flowing thru my temple's veins. Today seems to be a good day, i hope.
Last weekend although the weather wasnt pretty, on top of that i had to go to work, Meor and An decided to fix their camber kits. The bad thing about Sunday in Malaysia every workshop seems to be closed and if you have a flat tyre without a spare, its going to be a bad day. So they decided to go to the nearest well-known workshop.
Meor brought his new SKUNK2 camber kits. He should be the 2nd person i know that has fixed this toy successfully. But physically being there to witness the installation would be my first time. An brought his used Cusco camber kits. He has kept them for quite sometime and has actually loaned to others before this due to the fact he was so friendly :p
So as you can see from the pix, the Cusco seems to be thinner and almost near stock size. Skunk2 ones seems to be chunkier. The Skunk2 design looks original from the factory design except for the adjustable kit and the Cusco looks simple and cylinderish.
I can say that the Cusco model is lighter than the Skunk2 but it doesnt offer adjustments and better corrections.
The installation wasnt long but the rain just kept pouring into early evening. After both cars installed, i can see the differences although proper wheel alignment was not been done.
The good thing about this installation, we have the same car model but different brand of items. It makes things clearer and comparative to those that seeks better options (some people like blue colors, some dont)
I have yet to snap another round of pix after their proper wheel alignment stages. We'll let the boys have some fun first.
Hopefully we see new installation for the Honda CR-X and Honda Integra DA6 soon :)
