I had 9 days of pure rest and fun back in Kota Kinabalu. At the same time my bro and dad were also back in town. Honestly, KK is having some serious heatwave problem. I'm always inside the house either in my room or living room with air-con. It's really ugly to see the number or cars and traffic jam happenin in KK at the moment. My aunt from Singapore was in town and i had the best breakfast-lunch-tea-dinner at home. Only supper i'll have it outside with my buddies.
My bro and my uncle did Honda Integra engine hybrid successfully. They probably took a week to do it since my uncle had to work in the day. Everything was nicely done and stock condition. We found out the alternator was dead and managed to fix the internal with the brand new parts. I didn't get my hands dirty, just being Mr. Advisor as usual. Managed to meet the wireman which was the same person that wired Ah-Lun's monster AE86s.
The simple setup :
DA6 Halfcut - PR3 (Japan did the engine hybrid)
FSE Fuel Regulator
Mugen 0.4 Head Gasket
SARD Silicon Hoses
NGK Cables
Exedy 3-Puck Thin Clutch System
Tokico Edusa Shocks & RS-R Springs
Spoon Gear Knob
Mugen Brake Fluid Reservoir Oil Sock
Mugen Oil Cap
Mugen Lug Nuts
Stock Header with 2" Cat-Back and S-Bend System
15"X6.5 Black Racing BR-Sport Rims
Black Recaro SR-3s
Few tiny things like the Spoon chip, ITR header, air-conditioning and etc are still not fixed yet. I let my brother continue the legacy when he's back in town again. With a bit if fine tuning and maybe mods, it should be a fun toy to play. He might go for quad-throttle, but we'll see if he is serious about it.
The vtec-turbo has been decomissioned completely. It was good and something to ponder the good and bad times about it.
I've got no comment about this trip, AirAsia was being themselves, weather was un-predictable, car wreckers are pathetic, diesel is good, traffic-jam sucks, modded cars everywhere, cheap rims, nice ladies, new clubs, cheap food and etc.
I'll add some pix later folks.
