Oldschool : OER ITBs For EF8/EF9

Just got this pix today from Meor. From my observation, they looked like 40mm sized quads (it can be 38mm too) and the vacuum log looks simple. OER has some fancy throttle holders which reminds me of the cuckoo clock.

Honda Tuning : July 2007

Its been 6 months or prolly more since the last time i read Honda Tuning magazine. They are either too thin to be read or i cant get a hold of it at any newsstand. This latest issue looks good with Loi Song's K26 Integra and NWP4LIFE Si Turbo Civic.

Hondata S300 : No More Burning Chips

This is a sample pix if you decide to use Hondata S300. You have to cut the side wall ecu piece to let the USB cable connect to the port. I think this is much simpler than having to cut a smaller hole just for the USB alone. For JDM ECUs, its S300(J).

Sepang Drag Battle 2007 - Round 3

Sepang Drag Battle - Round 3 - The Accident

Last Saturday night the weather was gloomy and rain was still drizzling to the early evening during the event. Nothing much we can hope for as the whole week was forcasted to rain day and night. I went to Sepang and i was quite surprised with the drivers turnout and the large numbers of spectators. We managed to get good parkings and also pit passes.

In between the event, an accident happened in Group A category (4WD & Open). GT Auto's EVOIII spun and hit the wall along the grandstand stretch. I was watching it LIVE when the tail started to spin, turned 270 degrees and hit the wall. The car was a wreck. It hit the side wall so bad the car was crushed into half. Everything broke incuding the rollcage. Driver was hurt in the incident. Ambulances and a forklift came to the rescue.

Front my point of view, the car had won that round. Unfortunately, according to sources he triggered NOS/srambled boost on the damp strip which i think it was a foolish thing to do when the other driver was already 150-200m behind him. Above are the photos before the incident. I tried to snap using my "normal" camera and i cant see shit with the flash even. I also heard people saying that the car was producing 1000hp

I have more pix from the event. Will post it later when im free.

2007 Mivec Mid Year Progess

Time really flies. In 2 weeks time, it'll be middle of the year. So far this year i have mildly modded my car. Nothing much to expect since theres nothing much in store for me.

On 28th April 2007, i dynoed my car on the Dynojet machine. The result was satisfactory. I managed to hit 176.11whp with 18.38kg/m of torque at 8000rpm. For my kind of lazy setup, thats huge horsepower.

I have been told that if i were to dyno on a different type of dyno "somewhere else" i would prolly hit 185 or even 190whp. But then again im not an ego-fanatic-showoff so i stayed with Dynojet and maintain my base power from there. I dont wish to compare results unless ure on the same machine with me. I noticed some dyno machines in Malaysia made a lot of kids smiling on the way home, with less mods that is. Hmm.

Since dyno result does not translate to quatermile timeslip bragging rights, more things need to be done. With a full interior car (yeah baby, im fully loaded now with weights) and daily driven (no, no, no i dont keep at home and claimed to be fast), looks like the last 6 months of this year has to be fullfilled with goodies if i can afford it, God willings.

Stay tuned.

Louis JDM Honda Accord CB3

This is Louis's Honda Accord. It comes with a H22A engine swapped by the previous owner. Very simple and very clean.
