As i was reading the above article, i was thinking quietly since some of the branded products are actually made in China where they have labeled and boxed from the "branded" country to make it look they are from there. Since China is booming like shi-take mushroom (Watch Discovery and you will see how bad is the smog in China) with their factories and industries, no doubt sooner or later everything will be made in China. Would you buy an aluminium radiator brand new made in Malaysia or you prefer China?. Very subjective huh?.
Probably its high time brand like Walbro should actually show their factory photos with some workers showing some "peace" hand signs if they really want to make people to believe. It is probably cheaper since they do not test their products and concentrate on making volume of fuel pumps.
When i was in Australia, Quiksilver was made in China. When i was in America, it was made in Mexcio. I actually found normal shirts that were made in Malaysia in America ( I wonder if its Puchong ..Haha).
I have seen fake Hytech's extractors and i do not see people complaining about it since probably they function like any other local custom extractors. Rumours saying fake SARD fuel regulators and NGK Power Cables are hitting the market. We shall then wait and see till someone do a comparison.
When i was in my primary school days, i like to go to MPH and see what new books they have in store. I noticed there was this particular book, "SAS Survival Book" that i like to flip and browse its content everytime i go to MPH. Many times i actually sat on the carpet and join the free-bookworm gang since i cannot afford such an expensive book which i think was more than SGD100.00.
I was a boyscout during my school days and i had fun to be honest. Prolly 10% that was written in that book could probably be used during my scouting days since we dont carry Rambo knives those days. No Swiss Army Knives that time too.
I have to recommend everyone that likes wild adventures to watch all episodes of Man VS Wild on Discovery Channel. It reminds me of the book, just that this time its being shown real life in different sorts of terrains.
Got the bars for my brother. EF/DA bars can be easily found if you have the car around to measure the length and fitment or if they label it correctly, which sometimes labelled wrongly. I would like to thank Meor and Jason for the help in getting the bars.
